MESTEX SHIPMANAGEMENT  operates in the field of crew management and has proved itself as an important and reliable provider in this sector.

MESTEX SHIPMANAGEMENT provides its services to large multinationals as well as medium-sized companies. Our clients are located mostly in Europe but also in other countries.

Since the beginning we had plenty of experience in selection of crews for various vessels including multipurpose dry cargo vessels, bulk carriers, container vessels, reefers, oil/product tankers. We are experienced in selection of seamen for particular positions in multinational crews. Whenever it’s necessary we provide our clients with repair squads.

The crew which MESTEX SHIPMANAGEMENT supplies consists of our own pool which is selected via a careful procedure in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 Standard. All newcomers are subject to SETS  (Seafarers Evaluation and Training System) computer test which evaluates their professional competence and a command of English. All our seafarers are certified in accordance with STCW Convention 1978, as amended in 1995 as well as other national and international regulations in force.

ETO (ELECTRO-TECHNICAL OFFICER)

Mestex Shipmanagement is currently looking for experienced, self-motivated and energetic candidates to join our expanding fleet of Dry Cargo vessels.

Profile

  • License: Regulation III/6
  • Fluent knowledge of English
  • STCW certification – valid
  • Previous experience with 2-Stroke Sulzer RT-flex (electronic engines) required
  • Bulk carrier with cranes experience preferred

 

Specifications

  • Contract duration: 4 months +/-1
  • Valid US visa – required or preferred
  • Valid Schengen visa – preferable; if not available, we will assist with obtaining.
  • Start date: to be confirmed closer to the date.

CHIEF ENGINEER - HEAVY-LIFT VESSELS

Mestex Shipmanagement is currently looking for experienced, self-motivated and energetic candidates to join our expanding fleet of Dry Cargo vessels.

Profile

  • Capacity: Chief Engineer (STCW Regulation III/2)
  • Fluent knowledge of English
  • STCW certification – valid
  • Previous experience with 2-Stroke Wartsila Sulzer conventional engine or RT-flex electronic engine required.
  • Heavy-lift vessel with crane (375T SWL) experience mandatory.

  • Contract duration: 4 months +/-1
  • Valid US visa – preferred
  • Valid Schengen visa – preferable; if not available, we will assist with obtaining.
  • Start date: Embarkation ASAP.

  • Previous experience with – MAN ME-C/B electronic engines
  • Certificate of training MAN ME-C/B engines
  • Minimum experience required in rank: 3 contracts

  • Valid US visa –preferred
  • Valid Schengen visa – preferable; if not available, we will assist with obtaining.
  • Start date: beginning of February

  • Experienced on container vessels.
